「種崎津波タワー2.0」

−街の日常を取り込み、賑わいを引き出す−高知県種崎地区の新たな津波避難タワーを提案するコンペティション。浦戸湾の玄関口に位置する種崎は、湾岸の風景と住宅地の風景が二分しており、港の賑わいや活気が人々の生活の中まで入り込んでいない現状にある。従来の避難タワーのような津波に耐え得る合理的な構造を保ちつつ、種崎の地にあった日常利用のプログラムと、人々の活動を誘発する空間をもった避難タワーを提案する。また、人々の活動を可視化し、周辺の環境を巻き込むことで、地域の賑わいの拠点として日常時から人々の拠り所となり、種崎の新たなシンボルとなる。

Take in the everyday life of the city and bring out the liveliness.-
A competition to propose a new tsunami evacuation tower in the Tanezaki area of Kochi. Tanesaki, located at the gateway to Urato Bay, is divided into two parts: the bay and the residential area, and the bustle and vibrancy of the harbor has not been incorporated into people's lives. We propose an evacuation tower that has a rational structure that can withstand tsunamis like conventional evacuation towers, but also has a space for daily use programs and people's activities, which is located in Tanesaki. In addition, by making people's activities visible and involving the surrounding environment, it will become a new symbol of Tanezaki, becoming a base for people on a daily basis as a base for the community's vitality.
